 Funded by a "Choice Neighborhood Grant" from the federal government, this renovated schoolyard in Boston provides an artificial turf playing field; two new areas of play equipment; new accessible sidewalks; a time line graphic painted on the main path featuring important historical events for the local community; and an outdoor classroom with raised planting beds, native plantings, and space for classroom gathering.
