Boston Schoolyards Initiative featured in LASN

The June 2014 issue of Landscape Architect and Specifier News included a feature article on CBA's schoolyard design at Harvard-Kent Elementary School, where details such as the graphics on the asphalt play area and a mural on the retaining wall reflect the nearby USS Constitution. As the article states, every schoolyard designed as part of the Boston Schoolyard Initiative "is the result of thoughtful collaboration amoung parents, teachers, the principal, students, neighbors, the landscape architect, city and school officials and funders committed to providing urban students with safe, inviting outdoor spaces to learn and play".
